David Lindon Lammy
David Lindon Lammy, FRSA is the Member of Parliament for Tottenham and the Lord Chancellor, Secretary of State for Justice and Deputy Prime Minister. He has previously served as UK Foreign Secretary and Parliamentary under-Secretary in the Department of Health, Minister in the Department for Constitutional Affairs, Minister for Culture, Minister in the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills, and Minister for Higher Education. David is a lead advocate in the fields of social activism, diversity and multi-culturalism. He studied law at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, obtaining a first-class degree, before studying an LL.M. at Harvard Law School. He has published on outcomes for, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic individuals in the Criminal Justice System and drawn attention the close interplay between addressing climate change and racial and social justice.
