Conferencing at St John's

We host a wide range of events throughout the year, including academic, business, and Church conferences. Our flexible spaces include elegant function rooms in rooms seeped in history, contemporary meeting rooms, and tranquil riverside gardens, all supported by in-house catering and accommodation available outside of term time (July to September).

Located just a short walk from Durham Cathedral and the city centre, St John’s offers an inspiring venue where history and hospitality meet.

The JACT Durham Greek & Latin Summer School has been held at St John’s College, Durham, for over 20 years and we could not ask for a better venue. The staff at St John’s consistently go above and beyond to welcome us year after year, always accommodating our needs with kindness and flexibility. Their hospitality is exceptional, and the catering is second to none.
