Secret Gardens of South Bailey
Discover the hidden history and gardens of the Bailey
Secret Gardens of South Bailey is an annual public event hosted by St John’s College and St Cuthbert’s Society, opening up some of the hidden gardens and historic spaces of Durham’s peninsula to visitors from across the city and beyond.
Alongside guided heritage and garden tours, the programme includes talks from historians and archaeologists, opportunities to explore the environmental and ecological life of the gardens, and refreshments in the College gardens.
