Make a gift in your will

A gift in your will is one of the most enduring ways to support St John’s. Legacy gifts help ensure that future students can benefit from the same welcoming community, opportunities and sense of belonging that have shaped generations of Johnians.

Make a difference

Making a will is an opportunity to reflect on the difference you would like to make in the future. By remembering St John’s in your will, you can help strengthen the College for generations to come.

The most valuable gifts are unrestricted, allowing the College to direct support where it is needed most. However, if there is a particular aspect of College life that has special meaning for you, we would be pleased to discuss your wishes. Legacy gifts can support scholarships, the College estate, research, student opportunities and many other areas of College life.

Find out more about the different ways your gift could make a difference.

Our Story

St John’s College is incredibly special to us. It’s where we met, made some of our best friends, lived in such a quirky historical building in a most beautiful city and experienced life in a way we never had before.

College is an integral part of our relationship and we had such an amazing time there. It is 46 years since we graduated and we just love keeping in touch with what is going on and visiting whenever we can.

Our children know how special college is to us and understand why we want to leave a legacy to St John’s, to enable future students to have the experience that shaped us.
